Filing for sole custody?
I have posted previously with different questions and have not received an answer so I thought I would try a new question. I have an 8, almost 9 year old daughter who's biological father has had limited contact with her since we split when she was 9months old. We have both since married (we never married each other but he signed for paternity at the hospital when she was born)

Hired for not showing up
I was fired for not showing up because I was at MSU for my birthday. I knew I had to work but just turned my phone off and didn't show up.

Toxic Paternal grandparents seeking visitation
My 2 year old son's father commited suicide December of last year. Prior to this he was granted joint legal custody when my son was 6 months old. Before that he was in rehab for 6 months.

Nightmare
I recently finished graduate school and took a position as a professor at a rural college in Indiana. As my husband and I had purchased a home in the town where I went to graduate school (that, of course, we could not sell:rolleyes:) we decided to rent at first after moving here.

Inheritance Rights
My boyfriend just found out that his mother DIED A MONTH AGO because he received probate paperwork from an attorney in the mail. His mother's wil was changed or written about two months before she died. In the will she lists my boyfriend and his brother as her children ( although in the will it has my boyfirend's birth year wrong) and she leaves everything, ( her estate valued at a little over a million dollars) to my boyfriend's brother and if he dies then to his wife.

Got a hospital bill for my mom
sometime last week i got a hospital bill for an ER visit. confused, i called my mom & asked if she knew what it was about, since we have the same name. i figured it was just a stupid mix-up. sure enough, she said it was hers, but that she didn't recall giving them my address. she remembered giving my brother's address, which is where she lives, because she had mixed up the numbers & my brother had to help her get it correct. i thought if i went to the hospital, they could straighten it out. no such luck. they said this is an outside billing company, & that i would have to call them & find out what's going on. so i did, & she said she could see that my information did not match what was in their records, but that she did not have the authority to change it. the woman advised me to write a letter to the company so that there would be a record of a written dispute of the bill. this is the letter i am thinking of writing. comments, suggestions? i don't want to cause my mom any grief, but i have suffered because of my own credit mistakes, & i am not about to start over with a new bill. i'm hoping this will get them off my back.

The laws in MN for threating texts?
Hello, heres the thing: My little sister (now 18) keeps getting threating text messages telling her to go to places so that they can jump her, beat her up...ect. She knows the girls, she just doesnt know what shes doing wrong to make these girls (and some guys) wanna beat her up.

Accussed of Discrimination at the workplace
I need advice on what my rights are. I was suspended yesterday from work (Assistant Manager-retail) based upon false allegations made that I had made a discriminatory comment (the n word) to an employee about guests that were in the store after a Loss Prevention issue. First off let me state that I am half black, am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, don't swear, and have never been accused of being racist or discriminitory in all of my employment history up until recently.
