My bf has got his father's name on his birth certificate and it is possible that my bf could gain access to his birth certificate or other legal documentation of his father. father dating my childs mother do i have legal custody
my girlfriend and I recently had our first child. The hospital said that my name will be on the birth certificate, but only the mother had legal custody of our child. They said I would have to get a DNA test to get joint legal custody.

hello, i would like to know if it would be illegal or a problem if i were to move out of state from nj to colorado with my daughter and my boyfriend of 3 years, i am no longer with the babys father and he barely sees her and never pays child support and he barely even atempts to see her. we have never been to court and there is no custody aggreement. he is listed as the father on the birth certificate but thats all
