rented room and now tenent is threatening me, how can I get rid of him
I rented a room to a man who turned out to be nothing but trouble. I asked him to leave but he says he does not have too and since then he has provoced me with all kinds of offesive accusations, and threats, plus staying up all night making all kinds of loud noice to harass me. He wants me to hit him so he can have me arrested

frozen/burst pipe water damage
this weekend a water line froze in the ceiling above my bedroom. It was due to a penetration on the exterior wall for a water spigot that wasn't properly insulated (landlord's fault)

In an effort to find lost or stolen laptops they installed tracking software that would turn on the built in camera and "silently" take pictures at set intervals and send those pictures to administrators so they could determine where the laptops were being used and they were being used properly.

Moved out, landlord wants payment for new carpet, paint
Daughter moved out of house due to hostile living environment caused by another roommate. In her bedroom, there were a few drop-size stains on the carpet and holes on the wall where she hung pictures, and the movers scraped the paint when they moved her furniture out. She left a $300 check to cover the costs.
