Rental neglect and unsanitary conditions
My family and i moved into a rental home 2 weeks ago when we moved in the toilet leaked and we asked for it to be repaired. the landlord sent a young kid in his early 20's to come repair it instead of repairing it he came to our home under the influence of drugs and broke the toilet causing it to have to be removed. the next time he came he again was under the influence of drugs put the new toilet in but did not do it properly so so now it leaks onto the floor from under the toilet and sprays water full of urine and fecal matter on your feet when you flush it along with the constant water leakage

Landlord says I must pay for heating to keep water pipes from freezing
Hi, My landlord is trying to tell me that I need to pay the heat (electric baseboards) for the basement that has the water pipes for mine as well as the other apartments from freezing. He is saying this because we are privately using part of the basement for our laundry and storage

Not sure if I can do anything…
My landlords have not fixed leaks in the roof we have been after them about for almost the whole 2 years we have been there. There is a small room we have that we were told would be fixed up when we moved in, and by fixed up I mean , the water damaged floor and walls replaced and the mold taken care of.

Seeking compensation for eviction by father
My father is evicting me and my husband from his property. There is no written lease and was never really a verbal agreement as far as rent or term of resdience or anything because the original decision to move in with him was based on a promise that the property would someday be ours. We have been paying on a loan that was used to remodel the basement now for three years as well as sunk quit a bit more money into the house for other things to increase the value of the property! Do my husband and I have any rights as far as reinbursment for the money that has been invested into my fathers property that we are now being forced to vacate?

Destruction of Property Question
I've recently gone through a break up w/ my (now ex) boyfriend of a few years. After we broke up, he changed the locks on our house (my name is still on the lease), blocked my number and refused to give me back thousands of dollars worth of my things which were boxed up in the basement

Landlord vs Tenant rights
My husband and I rented a house for two years. My landlord told us he would not be renewing the lease because he was moving back in. (We found out days later that the house is actually being torn down.) We moved out
