Joint Owner/Co-Executor
In Maryland, is it legal to be both joint owner with my mother of a bank account and listed as co-executor of my mother's estate in her will?

I closed my bank account and now I have an overdraft.
I decided to close my Old National bank account because of the recent monthly fees they've added. I went in and the teller informed me I had $4 and some cents still in the account. I asked if there were any pending transactions, she said no and gave me the money, telling me the account was closed.

Can a Leasing office really do this?
-I was going to move into a 2 bedroom apartment with a friend -The friend already had a one bedroom apartment in the complex we were going to move into -The Leasing office asked him to pay a $500 transfer fee (refundable if he does not move) since he was switching apartments before his lease expired -I decided to help my friend out and paid $300 of the transfer fee by making a money order from my bank account to the Leasing Office -Me and my friend later got into a quarrel and decided not to move in together, we are no longer on speaking terms. -I contacted the Leasing Office agent and was refused a refund of my money -The leasing office claimed that they credited my $300 to my friend's account and the only way I could get my money back is by asking my friend for it. My questions is: Will I be able to get my money back from the leasing office?

Jury duty problem
I received a summons for juror service but it was directed to a fake name which I created when I ordered some items online on a few occasions. I find it rather odd considering there's no legal record, bank account, ssn attached to that name

BB&T Bank
BB&T --- I can NOT believe that they allowed a person to open an account!!! That person has royally screwed several other local banks. There are 5 public records - no make that 6 - her landlord sued and won in court in Dec 09. So, 6 judgements (mostly unpaid), bounced checks galore, collections - 26 accounts and counting...and they let this person open a bank account???

balance transfer/cash advance
When doing a balance transfer to my citi forward I noticed they have an additional field "get money for personal use" where you can debit money to your bank account. Is that treated the same as the balance transfer?

Building Credit Score without SSN
I visit the USA and have held a bank account in the USA for 10 years. I was talking to my USA bank about obtaining a US based credit card to build credit score but I only hold ITIN and will never hold a SSN.
