Kids living with Mom in MO want to live with Dad in CA
The kids are 15 and 13. We see them ever summer, and every summer they ask if they can stay with us during the school year. It was only this last Summer where they were able to articulate clearly why they wanted to stay with us

Conflicting statutes about setting aside judgment
Missouri is one of the worst states around for being any help at all to someone who has been ill-used by unscrupulous collectors, especially 3rd party debt collectors. It appears it may be that no matter what deceptive and crooked means were used to obtain a judgment that you are stuck with it. :confused: I have filed a motion to vacate a default judgment which was based upon fraudulent facts that I believe the judge is aware of because he'd have to be really in another world not to know

Help Interpreting Statutes and/or Instructions and/or Definition
In trying to glue together a reasonable facsimile of a Motion to Vacate Default Judgment, I find I periodically run into stuff (how you like "stuff" for a technical term?) :) So I am trying to put most of my questions into this thread rather than start new ones for each statute/clarification I'm requesting. Help is appreciated thank you. In the language of the below statute I need to know what is meant by "other filing".

is there a limit on how many times you can file a motion to vacate judgment
I really don't feel inclined to knock myself out researching how to appeal the wrongful default judgment against me by 3rd party junk debt collectors and their junk debt lawyers. Because I have no idea what will work and rather than spend anymore of my time looking up stuff that may or may not work, can I just keep on filing motions to vacate a default judgment until I get it right

Affidavit of Support
I was just curious if anyone knew about the Affidavit of Support regarding immigration. My brother in law who has lived in the states since he was a baby asked if I could help him get his citizenship by filling out an I864 Affidavit of Support. The sponsorship is to show that he will not be a burden or rely on the government while here in the states. Does anybody know if this will affect my credit score? Thanks in advance.
