What does it take to open a Mortgage Loan Office in California?

I am very interested in working as a Loan Processor but I am also curious of what does it take to open one’s own Mortgage loan office. I know the essential people would include a Mortgage Broker license, underwriter, loan consultant, document drawer, etc. but what else is needed besides a large capital.

HELP! I need to know whether this is a scam or not! :(?

I am interested in a car i found on autotrader and it’s at a very very cheap price for what it is. The seller says the reason it’s cheap is because he’s struggling to sell it where he’s from (Spain) and just wants to get rid of it. He says that he’ll cover the costs of shipping and the money transfer is going to be through Yahoo Finance. However, i’m not sure that yahoo finance even DO money transfers. He makes it out like it’s a sort of Ebay transaction as i don’t have to pay for it until a certain date. The links he gave me don’t seem legitimate. This is the link he gave me for Yahoo finance:

I want to believe him because it’s my dream car but i need to make sure i’m not going to be scammed! Can anybody help?

mortgage refinance?

My husband and I bought a house in October with a no documents loan and ended up having to split our mortgage and have two smaller loans. Our mortgage servicer recently called and said that they have been unable to sell our mortgage and would refinance our loan at no cost to us. The woman I have been talking to said that they could combine our two loans and get us a better interest rate…sounds great

But is this legitimate? Is this something that I should be concerned about or is this something that happens often?
We still owe about 94K on the original loan and they are trying to combine both the loans. Overall it looks like it will be good for us because we’ll have one loan instead of two and our interest rate will be lower…can we just tell them not to refinance? How does that work? Our loans are crap right now so it wouldn’t take much to make it better for us

Lets say you kill the neighbors kid by running him over.
The family decides to sue you for 3 million.
Your car only carries 100,000 in liability.

The family decides to sue you and try to get your house.
Home insurance is just 100K if someone gets hurt in your property.
Not sure if that would even apply.
Can they take your house?
Pretend its a million dollar house and its paid off.
